Home Information Packs
HIP’s as they are known will be in compulsory use in 2007.
This will mean before being able to sell a property the seller will
have to get a pack prepared containing prescribed information all
of which is to be made available to any potential purchaser. The
cost of preparing the pack will fall upon the seller. We aim to
be able to get these packs prepared for anyone planning to sell
their house in a way that will enable the costs of preparing the
pack to be deferred, so that a seller gets the pack and can pay
for it later.
